The initial concept for the company was developed when the two founders, Tony Collins and Dean Kaiser, visited a “Big Box” store for a set of tires and during the four hour wait watched as numerous people in need of help arrived and left un-aided due to the wait period or, ultimately, the inconvenience of getting the car or it’s damaged tires to the tire shop for repair or replacement.  

Many people didn’t have the mechanical expertise, or desire to wrestle with a flat tire, or having done so, didn’t want to wait hours for “their turn”.  Likewise, having a car towed in without the benefit of a towing/roadside membership was expensive, and simply a stop-gap to the cost, time investment and hassle of regaining the freedom to travel.

The two friends, each business owners in their own right, decided to start a mobile tire repair company, and pushed forward with One Hour Tires. Tragedy befell the duo with Dean’s untimely passing, and the company nearly folded. However, with subtle tweaks, improvements and modifications under new management, it has thrived and grown in knowledge and experience.
